If you’re someone who uses CBD a lot, it’s great for a lot of people’s issues. But another compound that becomes a big part of the way it can help your body is CBN, a byproduct that comes from THC, and it’s not technically acidic. It’s made through a degraded type of THC that’s made when there is UV light exposed to it, along with aging.

CBN is considered minor in terms of cannabinoids, but it can make you slightly psychoactive and intoxicated in the way that it works.

What CBN is

It’s one of the major cannabinoids in the cannabis plant. It’s considered a minor cannabinoid due to the tiny quantities of this. It doesn’t come from CBG, but it’s a metabolite of THC, which happens when cannabis gets older.

There is some debate on how this works. Some say that’s psychoactive; others say they experience nothing at all. Some say that it’s a bit sedative, so it may possibly be an agonist of the CB1 receptors, and it doesn’t bind very highly.

CBN is great for the following:

  • Pain tha’ts chronic
  • Insomnia
  • Appetite issues
  • Anxiety
  • Seizures
  • Convulsions
  • Vomiting and nausea
  • Staph infections
  • Being a replacement for benzos

This is one that doesn’t really exist in high amounts, but hashish tha’ts aged may offer this. It’s hard to truly understand the benefits. But it is a bit sedative, and it’s a little less potent than regular THC, and some people may like the reduced effects of this.

There are the same drawbacks that happen if you take in THC, since it is a THC byproduct.

What about CBD

CBD is one of the main part starts in the cannabis plants and is also in the hemp plant too. It’s psychoactive, but not intoxicating, but it does lift the mood and reduces pain. CBD is a cannabinoid that doesn’t actually have direct effects on the receptors, but it does antagonize them when THC is present.

Cannabidiol also doesn’t have a high affinity for either of the receptors, so it can dampen THC effects, but also may keep it happening for longer. It also has beta-caryophyllene in this too, and it works together to also reduce inflammation within.

It targets a ton of receptors, in order to improve the body’s inflammatory response, relief from pain, and the boosting of the mood.

It does have a lot of uses for it, and it can be used for the following:

  • Neuropathy.
  • Chronic pain
  • Anxiety
  • Arthritis
  • Depression
  • Vomiting
  • PTSD
  • Stress inflammation
  • Migraines and headaches
  • Insomnia
  • Epilepsy

This is not intoxicating, and it is not stimulating. It also doesn’t create anxiety, and also is a good antidepressant in small amounts. It can be sedative in large amounts. It’s not illegal and won’t be tested for on drug tests.

This is a great product, but you do need to be mindful, as those that are on the market may not be the best quality. If you’re someone who wants to use this to get the most out of it, you should avoid the use of THC.

CBD also interferes with drug metabolism, especially medications, painkillers, and the like, so it can impact the way you absorb this. Both of these are quite different compounds, but you can use them together in order to create the best effects possible. Obviously, you can get CBD in large amounts and it’s very easy to get it, but it’s possible to use both to manage some problems within the body.
